  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 40 g rolled oats
  • 400 ml milk
  • 1 tbsp honey

  1. Step 1 Cut

    Peel ripe bananas and cut into chunks. Frozen banana makes the smoothie creamier without ice.

  2. Step 2 Blend

    In the blender, add milk first, then banana, oats and a pinch of cinnamon. Blend on high speed for 45-60 seconds until no oat lumps remain.

  3. Step 3 Blend

    Taste and adjust: if too thick, add a little more milk; for a colder drink, add 2-3 ice cubes and blend 10 seconds more. Serve immediately.

Storage

Best eaten the same day. Leftovers keep refrigerated up to 24 hours.

Chef tips

  • Very ripe bananas (speckled skin) sweeten the drink without added sugar.
  • Soak oats 10 minutes if your blender is not very powerful.
  • You can prep it the night before and refrigerate up to 12 hours.
